Digital Study Tour

We are proud to present our “digital study tour” video series on the main tourist regions of Hungary.

It quickly became clear that the pandemic would preclude the organization and hosting of study tours for partners, and from this situation arose an innovative and creative alternative. Accompanied by a film crew, the regional heads of business development scoured the country in search of the greatest treasures, the most beautiful attractions, and the most colorful events that each region has to offer, and created a unique video series aimed largely at B2B tourism professionals. Featuring episodes on Budapest and its surroundings, Balaton, Debrecen-Hortobágy, Tokaj, and Eger, the video series is already available in seven different languages, and work will continue this year to include subtitles in even more languages, as well as the filming of new episodes.

Both the 15-minute videos and their 1-minute teaser trailers will be made available to our partners to use as a practical tool and, until such a time as we are able to welcome you in person once more, it is our firm hope that they will serve to bring Hungary one step closer to foreign professionals, travel consultants, and travel agents.

Dear Partners,

The past year has seen unprecedented challenges for us all, but with the emergence of the proverbial light at the end of the tunnel, we are all eager to see a speedy recovery of the sector. To hasten that outcome, our valued B2B partnerships will prove absolutely essential, and we are extremely glad to have maintained so many throughout this epidemiological situation.

Here at VisitHungary, this work has not stopped, with webinars, virtual fairs, online workshops and presentations on various topics all taking place, as well as the filming and launch of a „digital study tour” series to be used by our B2B partners – to bring Hungary one step closer, until such a time as we are able to welcome you in person once more.

We are continuing our efforts to ensure a smooth and speedy recovery of the tourism sector, both domestic and international. As ever, tourism remains not only our profession, but also our passion!

From our whole team, we thank you for your continued support and cooperation, and we look forward to achieving even greater success together in the coming year.
